Jim Weems is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in civil litigation, currently serving as a Shareholder and Director at Daniel Coker Horton & Bell, P.A. since January 2001, specializing in defense cases involving car accidents, slip and falls, and premises liability. Additionally, since January 1995, Jim Weems has contributed to legal education as an Adjunct Professor at Belhaven University, teaching courses in the ASPIRE program on Law, Ethics, and Communication. Previously, from September 1993 to December 2000, Jim Weems held the role of Chief Administrative Officer and Counsel at Mississippi Children's Home Society, managing Legal, Human Resources, and Quality Assurance departments. Jim Weems earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from Mississippi State University.
