Sofie Irgens is an accomplished executive in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Climate Solutions Accelerator division at Danfoss. Sofie has held multiple senior positions within Danfoss, including Senior Vice President of the Residential Heating Division and Head of the Business Unit for Burner Components. Prior experience includes roles at Vestas as Vice President of Product Development & Engineering for offshore wind, Senior Director at KK Wind Solutions, and various leadership positions at VELUX, including Director of Research & Development and Head of Business IT. Sofie's educational background includes a Master of Engineering and Bachelor in Energy and Indoor Climate, complemented by a Master in Management and Production from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, and secondary education from Haderslev Katedralskole. Additionally, Sofie serves as a Board Member at Coop Danmark.
