Uri Donnett serves as the Lead Shelter Veterinarian at Dane County Humane Society since March 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Maddie's Clinical Instructor of Shelter Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from June 2018 to February 2021, and as a Shelter Medicine Resident at Mississippi State University from June 2014 to July 2018, where training encompassed shelter medicine, surgical procedures, disaster response, and veterinary student education. Earlier experience includes an internship in Shelter Medicine at Iowa State University and a research assistantship in veterinary microbiology. Uri Donnett holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master of Science (MS) in Veterinary Preventive Medicine from Iowa State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Animal Science from Michigan State University.
