Matt Pinelli is a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at D2L, leading and developing teams focused on Internal Tooling, Build and Deployment Tooling, and Platform since July 2015. With extensive experience in software development and engineering, Matt has previously held roles at D2L as a Manager and Senior Software Developer, contributing to the development of internal tools and CI/CD processes. Prior positions include Associate Faculty at Conestoga College, where Matt taught programming, and Build Engineer at OpenText, managing build processes and mentoring co-op students. Matt holds an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Computer Programmer/Analyst from Conestoga College and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster University.
