Rikke Kristiansen currently serves as a Grants and Programme Development Officer (JPO) at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp (DanChurchAid), focusing on humanitarian response, development, peacebuilding, climate change adaptation, and disaster preparedness. Prior to this role, Rikke was a Consultant in the Global Advisory department at COWI, where responsibilities included supporting the green transition and engaging in research and policy development related to climate change and urban resilience for major international financing institutions. Rikke's earlier experience includes roles as a Student Assistant and Engineering Intern at Ramboll, contributing to HVAC engineering and sustainability projects, and an internship with Engineers Without Borders Denmark, enhancing climate resilience in Sierra Leone. Rikke holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Cities from Aalborg University, along with degrees in Architectural Engineering and Business Engineering from Aarhus University and Engineering College of Aarhus.
