Fatima Jones is a passionate and results-oriented creative strategist with extensive experience in marketing and communications within the arts. Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at the Dance Theatre of Harlem since March 2024, Fatima previously held positions including Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at the Apollo Theater from July 2018 to March 2024. Other roles include Director of Public Relations at the Brooklyn Museum, New York Community Trust Fellow, and a consultant for Evidence/A Dance Company. Fatima also managed community outreach and arts promotion at LIU Brooklyn and was Associate Director of Communications at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Earlier experience as a Senior Account Executive at Technology Solutions Inc. Communications involved publicity for Fortune 500 tech companies. Fatima holds a degree from the University at Albany.
