Yorgos Savvidis is a skilled System Engineer currently working at Damen since September 2024. Previously, Yorgos held the role of System Engineer Team Lead at Kenotom from December 2021 to September 2024, overseeing a team of 10 engineers focused on Dual-Clutch Transmission Control Unit Systems in the Automotive Industry. Yorgos also contributed as a Software Architect and Software Test Automation Engineer in the same company, implementing ASPICE processes for Battery Management Systems and automation activities. Additionally, Yorgos served as a Project Manager at SpaceDot from April 2023 to September 2024, managing a €1.2M cubesat satellite project. Early experiences include being a Teaching Assistant at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, leading the AOCS team for the AcubeSAT project, and participating in related academic and engineering initiatives during education at AUTH, where Yorgos earned an Integrated MSc in Engineering.
