Johan de Laat has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and maritime industries. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer Services at Damen Shipyards Group since February 2013, Johan has progressed through various roles, including Project Engineer Services and Sales Engineer Services. Prior to this, experience includes working at Heesen Yachts in customer support and after sales and a significant tenure at Standard Aero B.V. as a Warranty Administrator and Detailed Component Inspector, focusing on gasturbine components. Earlier roles also include Detailed Component Inspector at Chromalloy Holland B.V. Johan's educational background includes studies at Inholland University of Applied Sciences, MTS Tilburg, and Durendael HAVO.
