Angelia Benefield Murphy has extensive experience in financial reporting and procurement, currently serving as the Director of Financial Reporting and Procurement at the Dallas Zoo since December 2017, following a role as Purchasing Manager and a temporary position as Revenue Accountant. Previous roles include Senior Accountant at Community Hospital Corporation from January 2013 to February 2017, and Accountant at Robert Half Finance & Accounting from August 2011 to December 2012. Angelia also served as Accounting Manager at Greatwide Dedicated Transport from July 1995 to October 2010. Angelia Benefield Murphy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University, earned between 1991 and 1995.
