Naomi Whitlock is an experienced volunteer at Dallas Pets Alive! since September 2023, focusing on connecting with foster homes and ensuring the well-being of animals to prevent shelter entry. Currently serving as a Research Intern at Wesleyan University since August 2021, Naomi has honed skills in DNA extraction and sample analysis while participating in team problem-solving. Prior experience includes working as an Operations Specialist at Wesleyan University, where oversight of campus center upkeep and knowledge sharing of event management software were key responsibilities. As a Research Assistant at Yale School of the Environment, Naomi collected and analyzed soil samples for scientific research, and previous roles at Starbucks and Panera Bread involved customer service and team leadership. Naomi is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biology and Earth and Environmental Science at Wesleyan University, with an international study experience at DIS from January to May 2023.
