Raquel Olmos, M.Ed., is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and instructional support. Currently serving as a 4th Grade Math and Science Teacher at Dallas Independent School District since June 2019, Raquel develops lesson plans and supplemental curricula to enhance students' mathematical skills. Previous roles include TAG Teacher and Math Teacher within the same district, as well as positions at Irving ISD and KIPP TRUTH Academy, where instruction spanned grades 5 through 7 in various subjects. Raquel's experience also includes work as a Research Assistant at Southern Methodist University and a Child Mental Health Worker, highlighting a commitment to supporting diverse student needs. Raquel holds a Master of Arts in Bilingual and Multilingual Education and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Academic from Dallas Baptist University.
