Michelle Touchet is an experienced School Library Media Specialist with a career spanning over two decades in education. Currently serving in the Dallas Independent School District since July 2016, Michelle focuses on supporting students and the learning community in analyzing information needs and utilizing appropriate resources. Prior roles include working as a School Library Media Specialist at Dallas ISD from March 2014 to July 2015, and as a substitute teacher from 2002 to 2013, along with earlier teaching positions as a bilingual educator. Michelle holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Texas Woman's University and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education, also from Texas Woman's University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
