Bailey Mason is an experienced educator and leader in the field of education, currently serving as an 8th Grade ELAR Teacher at Dallas Independent School District since August 2019 and as a Fellow Year 2 with Urban Teachers. Previously, Bailey held the position of Student Success Coach at City Year Dallas, focusing on closing educational gaps for 8th-grade students through individualized success plans. Earlier experience includes roles as Recruitment Director and SoCal Recruitment Coordinator at the Black Recruitment and Retention Center, where responsibilities involved mentoring, outreach, and event planning to support Black students in their educational journeys. Bailey's experience also encompasses a media internship at Walton Isaacson, contributing to client presentations and project documentation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Education from The Johns Hopkins University.
