Amanda Zimmerman is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles within the mental health and counseling fields. Currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician at the Dallas Independent School District since March 2022, Amanda has previously held positions such as Licensed Professional Counselor at Agape Psych Services, Mental Health Worker with Communities In Schools of Houston, and Traditional Site Coordinator and Behavior Intervention Specialist at Communities In Schools of North Texas. With a Master's degree in Community Counseling from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas, Amanda has worked across diverse settings including juvenile detention, crisis centers, and outreach programs, providing individual counseling and support to children, adolescents, and adults.
