Jennifer Cano is an experienced professional in child advocacy, currently serving as a Family Advocacy Training Facilitator at Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas since April 2019. In this role, Jennifer leads training programs in family advocacy curriculum. Concurrently, Jennifer works as a Prevention Services Specialist at Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, where responsibilities include facilitating CARE and presenting the Positive Parenting Program (Level 2). Jennifer has also held the position of Family Advocate, co-presenting at the Crimes Against Children Conference in 2017 and participating in a bilingual collaboration as a Forensic Interviewer. Previously, Jennifer was a Women's Case Manager at Genesis Women's Shelter & Support from July 2012 to October 2015. Educationally, Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Texas Woman's University and an Associate of Science from El Centro College.
