Welmoed Barendsen is an experienced professional in sustainability and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as a Secretariat Member at the Alliance for Global Health and a Senior Consultant at Dalberg Media, Welmoed focuses on communication and project management to promote sustainable development. As the Founder of Norra Cards, Welmoed creatively addresses sustainability challenges through eco-friendly greeting cards inspired by Nordic nature. Previous roles include research assistance at Utrecht Centre for Global Challenges, campaign work at Amnesty International, and human rights advocacy for PBI Nederland, among others. Education includes a Master of Arts in Leadership for Sustainability from Malmö University and a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Utrecht University, complemented by various courses in related fields.
