Justin Kitto is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience primarily in the dairy sector. Currently serving as Lead Advisor at DairyNZ, Justin Kitto leads projects aimed at enhancing on-farm environmental practices, particularly focusing on water quality, wintering, and biodiversity policies. Justin's tenure at DairyNZ began in November 2012, progressing through roles such as Solutions and Development Manager, Senior Solutions and Development Specialist, and Water Quality Specialist, where significant contributions were made through human-centered design and freshwater ecology. Prior experience includes an Environmental Scientist position at Otago Regional Council, focusing on water quality investigations, and an Environmental Student role at Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd, involving environmental research and monitoring. Justin Kitto holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science (Hons) with a specialization in Freshwater Biology from the University of Canterbury.
