Matt milks 1,400 cows at Providence Dairy in partnership with his father and uncle in Climax, Ga. They purchased the farm in 1999 and grew the operation from 250 cows. They triple crop 1,000 acres of corn for silage, sorghum and ryegrass. Matt served as president of Dairy Cooperative Marketing Association, is president of Georgia Milk Producers and serves on the U.S. Dairy Export Council trade policy committee.
