Eugene Brandal Laran has extensive experience in digital media, primarily with Dagbladet since January 1998, where roles included Sjef for SoMe og SEO, digital vaktsjef, sjef for digitale plattformer, and leading various editorial teams. Key achievements include directing a video initiative for seven months and covering a wide range of topics as a reporter. Laran also has earlier experience at Mediehuset Nettavisen as a morgenvakt and at TV 2 as a researcher. Laran began a career in journalism as the editor and journalist for Vestkantavisen from 1993 to 1995, overseeing its editorial operations. Education was pursued at Oslo and Akershus University College from 1997 to 1999.
