Ron Golan is a seasoned data scientist and machine learning expert currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at CytoReason since December 2022. Prior experience includes over a decade at Samsung Israel R&D Center where Ron held various roles, culminating as Machine Learning Algorithm Team Leader, responsible for leading a team and developing ML-based pipelines and predictive models. Notable projects include advancements in SSD throughput with Deep Smart Mapping and innovations in digital communication through the Machine Learning Polar Decoder. Ron also contributed significantly to projects in signal processing as a Signal Processing Algorithm Engineer. Earlier, Ron served as a Captain in reserve at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200, focusing on DSP and PHY algorithm engineering. Ron holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
