Selena Yuan is the Global Head of Talent Development at Cytokinetics, where the focus is on building and scaling the talent development function in line with the company's transformation into a fully integrated biopharma entity. Previously, Yuan held the same title at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, leading efforts to create innovative talent strategies while ensuring the integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Experience also includes roles such as Director of Global Talent Management at Gilead Sciences, Global Talent and Organization Development Director at Visa, and Principal and Consulting Director at Korn Ferry, among others. Yuan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago, complemented by a Master's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
