Geoffrey Stephens, Ph.D. has held various positions throughout their career. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at CytoHub, Inc., a role they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, from January 2023 to April 2023, they worked as a Consultant for drug discovery, drug development, and cell therapies at Cellcion LLC.

From July 2021 to December 2022, Geoffrey served as the Associate Vice President of R&D at Exagen Inc. where they were responsible for driving the pre-clinical diagnostics pipeline for SLE, RA, and fibromyalgia.

Before that, from May 2019 to March 2021, they were the Head of Process Development at Tessa Therapeutics Ltd. In this role, they led the development and optimization of closed-process manufacturing of T cell therapies for the treatment of various cancers and ensured compliance with FDA guidelines.

Geoffrey also worked as the Director of Product Science at Immatics Biotechnologies from November 2017 to January 2019 and as the Chief Scientific Officer at Cellcion, LLC from August 2016 to September 2017.

At MedImmune, Geoffrey held several positions including Senior Scientist from August 2007 to August 2016, Scientist II from August 2008 to April 2012, and Scientist I from August 2007 to August 2008. In these roles, they contributed significantly to the oncology therapeutic area and oversaw various research activities.

Geoffrey began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from January 2003 to August 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant and Mentor at Georgia Health Sciences University from September 1997 to November 2002.

Geoffrey Stephens, Ph.D. completed their education in a chronological order. From 1992 to 1997, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Biology. Following this, from 1997 to 2002, they pursued their Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine at the Georgia Health Sciences University.

In addition to their formal education, Geoffrey obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2015, they completed the Coursera Verified Certificates for courses such as "Developing Data Products," "Regression Models," "Reproducible Research," "Statistical Inference," "Exploratory Data Analysis," "Getting and Cleaning Data," "R Programming," and "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox." Additionally, Geoffrey is a member of the American Association of Immunologists, which they joined in January 2023.
