Rachel Staton is a seasoned professional in development and event coordination with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Since December 2013, Rachel has served as Senior Development Director at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, overseeing major fundraising events such as the Walk the Fairway Golf Tournament and the Fashion Breathes Life Gala. Prior roles at the foundation include Development Director and Development Manager, where Rachel significantly contributed to the Great Strides fundraising event, one of the largest national initiatives for cystic fibrosis. Earlier experience includes serving as Events Assistant Director for the American Heart Association, where Rachel coordinated logistics for various community events, and as Director of Membership and Events Coordinator at ABC of the Carolinas, managing member relations and networking events within the construction industry. Rachel's career began in customer service as a Sales Associate at Anthropologie. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing & Linguistics and Public Relations from Georgia Southern University.
