Gerry Brunk is a seasoned Managing Director at Lumira Ventures since June 2002, focusing on providing capital and expertise to life sciences companies addressing significant healthcare needs. In addition to this role, Brunk holds various board positions at multiple medical and biotechnology firms, including SpectraWAVE, Inc., Endogenex, HistoSonics, Inc., Cadence Neuroscience Inc., Engene Inc., PIC Therapeutics, GenEp, Inc., and Cyrano Therapeutics. These companies are engaged in innovative therapies for conditions such as coronary artery disease, Type 2 diabetes, and epilepsy, among others. Gerry Brunk's educational background includes an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Biology and Economics from the University of Virginia.
