Boris Taliev is an experienced Chief Design Engineer at Cyient since August 2021, specializing in leading design teams for oil and gas projects under EPCM contracts in Northern Europe. Prior to this role, Boris served as a Senior Design Engineer and Team Leader at Neste Engineering Solutions Oy, where responsibilities included technical management and team leadership. Boris's experience also encompasses a position as Civil Structural Engineer and Team Leader at Maire Tecnimont, overseeing design contractor activities for the Omsk DCU project. Earlier roles include Head of the Structural Engineering Group at JSC "Giprotruboprovod" in Kazan and a Structural Engineer in Omsk, alongside a civil structural engineering career at LLC "SPO Mostovik." Boris holds a Master's degree in Design and Operation of Gas Pipelines and Storage Tanks from The Omsk State Technical University and additional education in rock mechanics and engineering from Aalto University.
