Ananth Poolla has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical technology and healthcare industry. Ananth started their career as a Hardware Test Engineer at Siemens Medical Solutions and later joined NeoGuide Systems Inc as a Quality and Reliability Engineer. Ananth then moved to Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group as a HW/SW Integration Test Engineer, where they successfully integrated the Reliability Program into the product development process. Ananth Poolla then worked as a Sr. Quality Engineer at Boston Scientific, contributing significantly to regulatory submissions for new products in interventional cardiology. Ananth further gained experience as a Staff/Principal Quality Engineer at Hansen Medical, where they developed and improved quality processes for robotic catheter systems. Ananth Poolla also held various positions at Covidien, now part of Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group, and Medtronic, where they managed global projects, tracked market activities, and ensured business and quality management. Most recently, Ananth Poolla worked at Cyient as the Director of Business Development, responsible for managing PMO operations and improving delivery efficiency. Throughout their career, Ananth Poolla has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management abilities, and a focus on compliance and quality improvement in the medical technology industry.
Ananth Poolla completed their primary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1983 to 1988. Ananth then attended Atomic Energy Central School and obtained their High School degree from 1989 to 1995. Ananth pursued their Intermediate College education at Atomic Energy Junior College from 1995 to 1997, focusing on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
Moving forward, Ananth Poolla obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they went on to pursue their Master of Science (MS) degree at the University of Arizona from 2001 to 2004. During their time at the University of Arizona, they focused on Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Reliability Engineering, particularly in the field of Medical Devices.
In terms of additional certifications, Ananth Poolla earned their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2012.
