Boris Mechetner is an accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity and software engineering, currently serving as the Linux & Mac Collection and Prevention Team Lead at Cybereason since June 2019. In this role, Boris has successfully built and mentored a team of core developers, significantly enhancing security detection and prevention capabilities for Linux and Mac operating systems through the integration of advanced frameworks. Prior to this, Boris held senior roles at Cybereason and served as Director of R&D and Team Leader at Fenror7. Earlier experiences include positions at Mobilicom, Marvell Israel Ltd., and Unit 8200, with a focus on embedded systems, software development, and quality assurance. Boris holds a B.Sc in Electronic Engineering from the Holon Institute of Technology and a Practical Engineer diploma in Electronics and Computers from Amal-Bet Technical College.
