Patrick Richer is an experienced database professional with a strong background in database administration and technical analysis. Since September 2019, Patrick has been serving as a Senior Database Administrator/Designer at CYDEF. Previously, from August 2020 to October 2023, Patrick worked as a Database Technical Analyst at Shared Services Canada and held the same title at Natural Resources Canada from March 2004 to August 2020. Patrick's expertise includes providing support for various database systems such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle. Responsibilities have involved consulting with users, monitoring database performance, administering backup and recovery processes, and developing automation code. Patrick also has experience as a Geo Technology Analyst and Application Developer. Education was completed at La Cité collégiale in Ottawa, Ontario, from 1997 to 2000.
