Lauren Edwards is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in therapies and health sciences. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Therapies and Health Science at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board since November 2021, Lauren previously held the role of Deputy Director of Therapies and Health Science. At Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, Lauren functioned as Deputy Director of Therapies and Quality, where responsibilities included the leadership of allied health professionals. Prior experience at 2gether NHS Foundation Trust encompassed various leadership roles, including Deputy Director for Engagement and Head of Profession for Speech and Language Therapy and Dietetics. Lauren's expertise extends to advisory roles with the Care Quality Commission and a specialty in neuromuscular speech and language therapy.
