Syed I. Ahmed, CFE, has extensive experience in internal and external auditing across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Internal Auditor II at CVR Energy, Inc. since June 2021, Syed has held significant roles including Senior Auditor at McDermott International, Ltd. and Internal Audit Specialist at Sadara Chemical Company, a joint venture involving Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical Company. Additional experience includes positions at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company as an Internal Auditor, and at Ascend Performance Materials as a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting. Syed began a career in assurance through external audits at PwC.
