Ethan Petersen is a Principal Engineer at Curtis Instruments, Inc. since February 2019, with a robust engineering background encompassing over two decades in various prominent roles. Previously, Ethan worked as a Staff Engineer at Abbott from October 2010 to February 2019, focusing on the design of wireless power transfer systems for implanted blood pumps, following earlier positions at Thoratec, St. Jude Medical, and Abbott. Before that, Ethan served as an Electrical Engineer at Glacier Bay, designing electronic systems for marine applications, and held the role of Principal Engineer at Nellcor, Tyco Healthcare, where contributions included the development of circuits and systems for pulse oximeters. Ethan's career began at Curtis Instruments from 1995 to 2000 as a Hardware Design Engineer, where motor controllers for electric vehicles were developed.
