Alexey Muraviev, PhD, is an academic professional currently serving as the Academic Lead for the History, International Relations, Sociology, and Anthropology Discipline at Curtin University, where roles also include Associate Professor of National Security and Strategic Studies and Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Security Studies. With extensive experience in national security and international relations, Alexey holds several prominent positions, such as Non-Resident Visiting Fellow at the Royal Australian Navy's Sea Power Centre Australia and Senior Visiting Fellow at Future Directions International. Previous roles include Inaugural Scholar in-Residence at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute and Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne.
