Meriem McKenzie

Associate - Estate Strategy Lead at Currie & Brown

Meriem McKenzie, RIBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Most recently, they served as the Director of Life Sciences Consultancy at Lexica starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate - Estate Strategy Lead at Currie & Brown starting in February 2021. In 2020, Meriem founded their own company, MM Programmation, where they served as Founder and Director. Before that, they worked as an Associate Lecturer in Interior Design at Anglia Ruskin University from 2018 to 2020 and as an Assistant Professor in Interior Design at Zayed University from 2014 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Meriem held positions as a Director at MM Architect Cambridge, Senior Architect at R H Partnership Architects (rhp), and Senior Architect at both RMJM and Anshen Dyer Associates.

Meriem McKenzie, RIBA has a diverse education history. Meriem obtained a degree in architecture, Diplôme d’Architecte D.P.L.G. avec les félicitations du jury (Honours), from École d’Architecture de Haute Normandie in France. In addition, they hold a D-PRAUG Strategic planning - Diplôme de programmation en architecture, urbanisme et génie urbain from École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris.

Meriem McKenzie also pursued further education at The University of British Columbia, where they completed a Certificate in Scholarship of Educational Leadership.

In terms of certifications, they are an ARB Qualified Architect certified by the UK Architect Registration Board (ARB). Meriem is also a Chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), indicating their professional status in the field of architecture. Furthermore, they are an Associate of the Association for Project Management and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Additionally, they hold a certification from Cinov Sypaa, which is the Strategic planning association (Syndicat des programmistes).
