Aida Freixanet Viejo has a long and varied professional career. Aida started in 2004 as an Account Department Internship at Bassat Ogilvy. In 2005, they were a Communications Executive at Quality Events Technical Productions. In 2006, they founded their own firm, Nukli, where they designed corporate-quality branding and web solutions for clients in the gambling, retail, professional services, non-profit organizations and construction industries. In 2007, they were a Volunteer: Communication Executive at YWCA Quebec. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant at Full Tilt Poker Academy. In 2011, they were the Founder - CEO of Uxline Services. From 2015 to 2016, they were a User Experience Designer at the National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada, working in the Learning and Performance Support Systems Program. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Head of Design and UX at Currency Alliance. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Chief Operating Officer at GammaUX. Since 2020, they have been a Professor at Interaction Design and User Experience Master Degree at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

Aida Freixanet Viejo completed a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Universitat Ramon Llull from 2001 to 2005. Aida then obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and Communication Management from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2005 to 2007. From 2009 to 2011, they earned a Diploma in International Trade Training Program from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Lastly, they obtained a Human Centered Informatics HCI degree in Human Computer Interaction from Aalborg University from 2014 to 2016.
