Bas Overtoom is an accomplished professional currently serving as Director of ESG, Tech, and Data at KPMG Nederland since March 2024, after holding the position of Director of Data Analytics since August 2017. Overtoom has a strong background in data analytics, providing strategic advice to leaders and focusing on business transformation and market development in ESG-Tech. Previous roles include Account Director for Digital Insights at Adversitement, where responsibility included managing large European accounts, and Managing Director/Chief Representative of the Netherlands Business Support Office in Dalian, overseeing Dutch investment projects in North-East China. Overtoom's educational qualifications include a Master's degree from the University of Amsterdam and specializations in Data Science from The Johns Hopkins University and Computing Fundamentals from Rice University.
