Erin McConaghy has been in the childcare industry since 2008 when they began working at Playgarden NYC. Erin held the roles of Manager, Montessori Head Teacher/Director, and Movement Teacher & Front Desk Relations. In 2016, they founded Curated Care, Inc, an online marketplace that connects families with local artists and teachers for activity-based childcare, in the home. As Founder and Chief Community Officer, they are responsible for the platform that allows artists, performers, teachers and specialists to market their unique skills and expertise to families looking for a more creative, more premium childcare experience.

Erin McConaghy attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre/Theater. In 2009, they obtained an AMS Montessori Certification from CMTE-NY in Infant/Toddler Education. Additionally, they obtained an Infant & Toddler certification from the American Montessori Society in August 2009.
