Javier began their career in 2010 as an Analyst in Gaming, Lodging, Leisure & Sports at Standard & Poor's. In 2012, they moved to Goldman Sachs as a Latin America Derivative Sales. In 2014, they joined Yiftee as Sales Manager, where they developed and executed Yiftee's enterprise sales strategy, built a team, managed reps, and grew revenue by 3x in 10 months. Javier also joined Zenefits as an Enterprise Sales Manager and Sales Team Lead, where they were responsible for go-to-market strategy, hiring, forecasting, demand generation, sales operations, sales execution, and contracting for new business, renewals, upsells, business development, and partnerships for paid (non-insurance) products. In 2017, they moved to Kalo as Head Of Sales and to Rippling as Sales. In 2018, they joined WeWork as Director of Portfolio Sales, Sr. Sales Manager of Medium & Large Business in Southeast & Texas, Regional Sales Manager of Medium & Large Business in Florida, and Sales Manager in Miami. Javier also worked as a Board Advisor at BrainHi (YC S18), an AI driven communications platform for healthcare practices and hospitals in Puerto Rico and the U.S. In 2020, they founded Cuota, a company that shares the Silicon Valley sales playbook through strategic sales consulting, recruiting, and training for AEs in the U.S.
Javier RamÃrez Lugo received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in a Dual Degree program in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University between 2005 and 2010. In 2018 and 2019, they attended the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and completed a Commercial Real Estate Graduate Certificate Program. In 2021, they obtained a B2B Sales Bootcamp certification from Cuota. In 2020, they obtained a Managing Virtual Teams certification from LinkedIn. In 2013, they obtained a Series 7 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
