Arib Mahboob is currently a Data Scientist at UNICC, focusing on developing an open-source AI model for detecting misinformation related to renewable energy on social media. Concurrently, Mahboob is a Software Engineer Fellow at CUNY Tech Prep, utilizing front-end and back-end technologies to build web applications and implementing industry best practices. As a Software Engineer Mentee at Google, Mahboob participates in a competitive program designed to enhance technical skills through mentorship and workshops. Additionally, Mahboob is engaged in AI and Machine Learning initiatives at Cornell Tech, collaborating with Data Scientists to combat misinformation. Mahboob's educational background includes pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Queens College after studying at the University at Buffalo and Garden School NYC.
