Maximilian Brownstein is a skilled research engineer currently employed at CUNY Building Performance Lab since August 2021. Previously, Brownstein served as a project engineer at Energy Conservation from April 2016 to September 2021 and worked as an energy consultant at Ndevr Environmental Pty Ltd, conducting extensive audits of Energy Savings Certificates. Earlier experience includes an internship focused on engineering efficiency at the City University of New York Building Performance Lab and roles in various technical capacities in theater, including video technician at The New York Times and lighting technician at Manhattan Theatre Club and The Public Theater. Maximilian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The City College of New York.
