Ouafa Belgacem is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cultural policy and creative industries. Currently serving as part of the UNESCO 2005 Convention Experts Facility since November 2023, Ouafa Belgacem previously co-founded and leads Culture Funding Watch as CEO. In the role of Civil Society Department Manager at the Anna Lindh Foundation from January 2023 to September 2024, Ouafa Belgacem oversaw programs and collaboration with over 4,000 civil society organizations across 43 member states. Additional notable positions include Digital Africa Program Ambassador and Jury Member for WOMEX 2023 and Nordisk Kulturfond. With a solid educational background, including multiple master's degrees in history, archaeology, and management, Ouafa Belgacem has made significant contributions to the cultural sector, including a tenure as Programme Funding Coordinator at Oxfam GB Myanmar and consultant for UNESCO's International Fund for Cultural Diversity.
