Jonathan Meed has a long and varied work experience. In 2008, they co-founded DJVu Design and also worked as a consultant for JMeed Consulting. In 2011, they were a Developer Intern at HookLogic, Inc., where they helped to develop a new scalable analytics reporting tool. From 2012 to 2013, they were an SDE Intern at Amazon, where they implemented code for a large distributed system and designed and built a client configuration system. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a System Development Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer II at Amazon Web Services, where they designed and implemented an algorithm to better load balance customer traffic and architected workflows capable of performing complex software upgrades. Since 2019, they have been a Software Engineer at Bright Machines, where they designed and implemented an Ansible-based bootstrapping script, converted a legacy data import pipeline to serverless, and leveraged infrastructure as code tools. In 2022, they will start as a Sr Software Engineer, Devops at Culture Biosciences.
Jonathan Meed attended Stuyvesant HS from 2005 to 2009 and the University of Michigan from 2009 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering.
