Darcy Birse is an experienced executive currently serving as the interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Culture Biosciences since September 2023. Previously, Darcy held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Cell Signaling Technology from January 2020 to September 2023 and served as Senior Vice President - Global Head of Sales and Business Development at Lonza between September 2018 and January 2020. An extensive career at GE Healthcare from 2007 to January 2020 culminated in the role of Global Executive Director for Global Strategic Accounts. Earlier roles include Director positions at Dendreon and MDS Pharma Services, Vice-President of Biopharmaceutical Development at TGN Biotech, and academic positions at Stockholm University. Darcy holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Université Grenoble Alpes and advanced degrees in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Chemistry from other prestigious institutions.
