Yevgen Pogoryelov is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a data scientist at Cult of the North since August 2024, Yevgen specializes in developing data collection and analysis procedures for online games, building data pipelines, and utilizing AI tools for modeling game processes. Prior to this role, Yevgen worked at Velory from January 2020 to June 2023, leading data analysis projects and managing cloud data warehousing and ETL processes. Yevgen's academic background includes a PhD in solid state physics from the Institute of Magnetism, where significant contributions were made in experimental setups for investigating magnetization dynamics and spin-torque oscillators. With a solid foundation in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and LabView, Yevgen has demonstrated expertise in data analysis and visualization throughout a progressive career spanning various research and engineering roles.
