Chris Settle is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as Chief of Police for the Culpeper Police Department and as a Teacher for a dual enrollment Criminal Justice class through Culpeper County Public Schools. With a career spanning over two decades at the Town of Culpeper, Virginia, Chris has also held the positions of Police Officer and Deputy Chief of Police. Active in professional affiliations, Chris is a Committee Member with the International Association of Chiefs of Police, contributing to various subcommittees, and serves as a CALEA Assessor Team Leader. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Public Safety from the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Radford University.
