Jeff Jones has an extensive work experience in the medical field. Jeff currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Cullinan Oncology since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as the Vice President Global Drug Development, Lymphoma/Myeloid from May 2020 to February 2022. From August 2017 to May 2020, they held the position of Executive Medical Director at Celgene. Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, they were an Associate Professor of Medicine at The Ohio State University from September 2006 to August 2017. Jeff also gained experience as a Clinical Fellow at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from July 2003 to June 2006 and as a Resident Physician at Centre universitaire de santé McGill | McGill University Health Centre from July 2000 to June 2003.
Jeff Jones received their high school diploma from Eleanor Roosevelt High School. Jeff then attended the University of Maryland from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and English Language and Literature.
After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended the University of Michigan Medical School from 1996 to 2000, earning their M.D. degree. Following that, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Disease Control at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2004 to 2006.
In terms of additional certifications, Jeff Jones obtained certifications in Hematology and Medical Oncology from the American Board of Internal Medicine in October 2006 and October 2007, respectively.
Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), although the field of study for this degree was not provided.
