Alastair Carrington is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Director of PPA Origination at Cubico Sustainable Investments since March 2022. Prior to this role, Alastair held various positions at GE Renewable Energy from January 2019 to March 2022, including Global PPA Leader and PPA Structuring Manager for Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Alastair also worked as Head of Asset Management at Low Carbon from September 2012 to December 2018 and served as a Consultant at PeakGen Power Limited between October 2011 and August 2012. Alastair began a career in risk management as Risk Manager at Utilyx Ltd from November 2006 to October 2011. Educationally, Alastair earned an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance with Distinction from Cass Business School in 2006 and a BA in Geography from the University of Birmingham in 1996.
