Julian Knoll, PhD, is currently the Head of Data Experience at BNP Paribas Personal Investors, a role held since October 2018, specializing in AI, data science, and market research. Prior to this position, Julian served as a Lead Data Scientist focusing on business analytics and information. Julian has also contributed to academia as a University Lecturer at FOM University from October 2018 to March 2020, teaching modules on e-business, big data, and data science. Earlier experience includes a post-doc researcher and research scientist role at Nuremberg Institute of Technology from October 2014 to September 2018 and various positions at Schaeffler, including Project Manager and Internal Auditor. Julian's educational background includes a PhD in Statistics and Econometrics with a focus on machine learning from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology from DHBW Mannheim.
