Joe Franklin

Vice President, Brand And Experiential Marketing at CO-OP Financial Services

Joe Franklin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joe started their career at St. Joseph Hospital, where they worked as a Development Manager and was responsible for managing public relations and developing a family-based communications strategy. Joe then moved on to Chapman University, where they served as the Assistant Vice President of University Advancement. In this role, they created and produced all university events, designed university publications, and collaborated with the university's Boards of Trustees and Governors for major gift donations.

After their tenure at Chapman University, Joe worked at New Life Live as the Vice President of Communications. Here, they directed marketing strategies, developed advertising collateral for national radio and TV shows, and produced and directed numerous national and international events.

In 2011, Joe founded their own full-service meeting and event management company called Plan Ahead Events - Temecula. As the President and Owner, they specialized in offering creative solutions for meetings, trade shows, special events, and incentive programs for clients in various industries.

Most recently, Joe held the position of Vice President of Brand and Experiential Marketing at Co-op Solutions. In this role, they led the development and implementation of experiential marketing strategies to deepen relationships with the target audience and demonstrate the company's brand. Joe managed industry relations, client relations with national organizations and trade associations, and supervised a team of experiential marketing staff.

Joe Franklin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Corban University. Joe also completed coursework in Psychology (20 units) at California State University, Fullerton. In addition to their education, Joe has obtained certifications such as the Annual Giving Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Fundamentals of Fundraising Certificate from the University of Indianapolis.
