Jayavant Kumar currently serves as Vice President and Head of Energy and R&D at CtrlS Datacenters Ltd since July 2019, having previously held the position of Associate Vice President of Engineering. Kumar has significant experience in the field, including roles such as Chapter Secretary and Chapter Technology Transfer Chair at ASHRAE Deccan Chapter and Consultant in Data Center Engineering for Black & Veatch. Earlier roles include Deputy General Manager at Lakhani Jordan Engineers and Architects, Chief Manager at ACRPPL, and extensive involvement in MEP design and execution at various firms. Kumar holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, completed between 2013 and 2015.
