Elchin Azizov currently serves as the Head of IT Infrastructure/GCI Support Unit at the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) since June 2024. Prior to this role, Azizov held the position of Head of IS Operations, Infrastructure and Support at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) from November 2017 to December 2024. Azizov's experience also includes working as an ICT Officer for the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine from August 2014 to March 2016, and as Chief ICT for the OSCE Mission in Kosovo from May 2008 to September 2013, where responsibilities included managing ICT services, financial planning, and negotiating contracts. Additionally, Azizov worked as an IT Officer for the OSCE from 2003 to 2008, focusing on business process analysis and software development.
